Onyo
Derived from the Sanskrit word ‘অন্য (anya), also meaning ‘other’. The word is also used in the Assamese language.
- Onyo gorainṭor oṭo ḍam nai – Other houses are not as expensive.
- Onyo khano ḍekhmune – I will look another place/I will look somewhere else.
- Onyo shomaḍan nai – There is no other solution.
- Onyo khew – Someone else.
